With over 27 years of nursing experience and 10 years of case management, their staff is is dedicated to providing the finest in medical and ancillary services to the elderly and their families. Sharon Luquire, Geriatric Care Manager
Sharon Luquire has served in the long term care profession since 1974. She is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Family Resource Coordinator for A Peace of Home, LLC and former member of the New Hanover County Community Advisory Board responsible for evaluating the quality of care provided to residents in senior living communities. She has worked as a Regional Vice President of Operations for 3 major Long Term Care Corporations over a period of 17 years. She has experience in roles of Director of Nursing, Staff Development Educator, and as both a Regional and Corporate Nurse Consultant. She has served on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association.
With Mrs. Luquire’s “hands on” understanding of quality of care for the elderly, respect for the complexity of the healthcare industry, knowledge of the regulatory process and her personal struggle with her elderly parents, she will be able to assist families and their loved one gain peace of mind as they make informed healthcare decisions.
